Pre Application
Before completing your Application to study in Australia you should ensure that you fully understand Our Terms and Conditions of Enrolment and the associates fees and charges.
The Australian Government wants overseas students in Australia to have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience whilst studying in Australia.
Australia’s laws promote quality education and consumer protection for overseas students. These laws are known as the ESOS framework and they include the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and the National Code 2007.
To assist individuals who are considering studying in Australia and deciding their course of study, Australian Healthcare Qualifications & Training will provide clear, concise and accessible course information to all individuals prior to accepting them as a student in a variety of formats.
This includes;
- A student handbook
- Living in Australia handbook
- Fees schedule
- Course outline
Suitability Assessment
A pre-engagement assessment will be organised and conducted by an experienced Australian Healthcare Qualifications & Training staff member and recorded on an individual engagement pre-enrolment assessment form.
The assessment will include identifying the individuals;
- English language proficiency that must meet a bandwidth of 7-9, assessed by a registered provider.
- As being of an age that is over 18. Australian Healthcare Qualifications & Training have opted to not offer study options to individuals under the aged of 18.
- Literacy and Numeracy level to ensure it meets the course level and industry requirements
Student offers
Once all assessment suitability is confirmed and agreed upon the following documentation will be sent to students;
- A letter of offer
- Student agreement
The Students are to sign the agreement before or at the time of payment of fees. Students must meet any conditions stated on their Letter of Offer before a Confirmation of Enrolment is provided.
