Certificate IV in Leisure & Health

Consider the Possibilities of the Certificate IV in Leisure & Health

It is rewarding to help people enjoy a better quality of life. If you have some experience in the care sector and want to do more, the Certificate IV In Leisure & Health can open new avenues for you.

The importance of the Certificate IV in Leisure & Health

It is bizarre how much more active some people become when they retire. Suddenly, they have unlimited time, and they use it to the full. However, some older people sit down and can no longer be moved. Their retirement has begun, their work is done, so they do not believe in exerting themselves for anything anymore. This idea is, of course, not ideal. It is imperative that an older person becomes or remains active, both physically and mentally.

  • You can play an active role in activating or keeping the most vulnerable members of our society busy. After you have completed 120 hours in practice, consider taking a course with us to obtain the Certificate IV in Leisure & Health.
  • You will find that your current opportunities are significantly expanded. Yours to command is a particularly powerful tool: the possibility to initiate programmes that promote the health and activity of older people. However, it comes with additional responsibility too.
  • Of course, the elderly and the disabled should be able to choose how they spend their time. But you have the chance to offer them things they would not have thought possible themselves. Our certificate presents you with a magnificent opportunity to combine your practical skills and your creativity.
